Wolfeboro
Wolfeboro is touted as the "Oldest Summer Resort in America" thanks to Governor Wentworth who built his estate on Lake Wentworth in 1771. You could say that the little quaint town of Wolfeboro resembles a "Norman Rockwell" painting. The streets lined with shops, Artists and concerts in the park, parades which are attended by everyone in town...a great sense of "community".
Wolfeboro offers three public (free) beaches, Albee beach, Carry Beach, and Brewster Beach. There are docks and a boat launch in the center of town to access Winnipesaukee and a boat launch located at Mast Landing to access Crescent lake and Wentworth.
Truly a special little town which is visited by celebrities and well known political figures. In the summer, the population triples and in the winter time, you can see Wolfeboro Bay filled with little shantys for the ice-fishing. I taught my 11 year old daughter how to drive a stick on the frozen bay. You might also be interested in Newfound Lake waterfront homes or Moultonboro waterfront homes.

This Artists studio/workshop is situated on 2.5 acres of wooded land overlooking your own Gully. A cantilevered deck and some imagination would make this a great Studio-home. Needs well and septic.
